In short: Biot is part of my main working area. I come to your home for a behavioural assessment of about 2 hours (€130, free with a package), then sessions of about 1 hour at €80. Packages start at €490 for 5 sessions. Message me on WhatsApp to set a date.

Your dog in Biot: what we can work on together

Biot means a village, residential neighbourhoods, and the closeness of Sophia Antipolis and the river Brague: dogs meet a lot of different situations through the day. My role is to help you understand your dog and give it clear reference points, without force or harshness.

How home training works in Biot

I start with a full behavioural assessment at your home (about 2 hours): I observe your dog in its environment, we have a long discussion, and you receive personalised advice you can apply immediately. The assessment is free with any package.

Then come sessions of about one hour, at home and outdoors, always with you present. The exercises are summarised in your client area (PDF sheets and videos) so you can repeat them on your own between sessions. If you wish, you can also join the group walks and workshops, which are included with the packages.

Every programme follows the same idea: a relationship of trust, consistency and clear boundaries, never force.

Walks around Biot: the Brague and nearby parks

Parc de la Brague, Biot side

A 638-hectare departmental nature park, reached from Biot via the La Rine area on the RD4 (route de Valbonne), with about 20 parking spaces. The Pont des Tamarins picnic area is also in Biot. Lead compulsory all year.

Brague path

My guides to parks and dog areas in the 06 and to dog beaches mention the Brague path between Valbonne and Biot, along the river, as a walk that works with a dog.

Parc de Vaugrenier

Nearby, between Antibes and Villeneuve-Loubet: 102 hectares of meadows, oak woods and a pond. Lead compulsory; dogs not allowed in the equipped areas.

Rives du Loup

A 55-hectare departmental nature park along the Loup (Villeneuve-Loubet, Cagnes-sur-Mer, La Colle-sur-Loup). Main entrance: car park at 26 route de Grasse, Villeneuve-Loubet. Lead compulsory.

What the departmental parks regulations say

To see these places on a map, with current alerts (processionary caterpillars, blue-green algae, livestock guardian dogs), use Dog owners’ map, which is free. Source of the rules: regulations of the departmental nature parks of 17 December 2019, prefectoral order on forest areas. Information checked in October 2026.

My dog pulls on the lead: how many sessions should I plan?
It depends on the dog, its age and how regularly you practise between sessions. Some dogs progress in a few sessions, others need longer follow-up. After the assessment I give you an estimate that fits your situation, with no obligation.
Must dogs be on the lead in the Parc de la Brague?
Yes. In the departmental nature parks, including the Brague, dogs must be on the lead and wear a collar all year. Dogs are not allowed in the equipped areas. Opening hours are 7am to 8pm from 1 April to 31 October, and 8am to 6pm in winter.
Do you speak English for foreign families in Biot?
Yes. I work in French and English, for families on the Côte d'Azur whatever their language. You can write to me in English on WhatsApp, and prices are the same for everyone.
